Brown Show Cause reconvened at 7:14 pm. Attorney Walker present for Mr. Brown. Discussed junk issues, expanding non-conforming use, businesses. Mr. Brown willing to clean up property, he was given until July to get done. Township will research his personal property statements and contact Attorney Walker. Show cause ended at 7:40 pm. Motion Mahler support Krueger to agree to collect summer tax on non-homestead property for Fowlerville Schools and Livingston Intermediate Educational Services. Carried. Motion Cowan support Krueger to hire full time officer; we will look at budget at budget work meetings to come up with salary offering. Carried. Motion Krueger support Peterson to discontinue police dog. Opposed: Cowan. Carried. Motion Mahler support Krueger to offer $4,500 cap for school utility lease, explaining that is should not run any more than that if boiler system remains fixed, with the approval to renew the actual costs after one year to be fair.
