Unadilla Township Monthly Board of Trustees Meeting

March 9, 2006

Meeting called to order by Supervisor Peterson at 7:00 p.m.  Present:  Peterson, Topping, Mahler, Krueger, Cowan.  Absent:  None.  Pledge to flag.  Motion Mahler support Krueger to set agenda.  Carried.  Regular meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m. to hold public show cause hearing for Wilson Auto Repair.  Eric Tumbarella, zoning enforcement officer, presented case.  No one from Wilson's present.  Show Cause hearing closed at 7:07 p.m. and regular meeting reconvened.  Motion Krueger support Mahler to approve consent agenda items of minutes and payment of bills as amended.  Carried.  Call to Public:  None.  Regular meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m. to open Budget Hearing.  Budget presented by Supervisor discussing proposed income and expenditures for township, fire, police, roads, etc.  Public Hearing on Budget adjourned at 7:17 p.m. and regular meeting reconvened.  Asset test for poverty exemption discussed, tabled.  Timetable for submitting site plans to the planning commission discussed, already approved by Planning and County Planning.  Motion Krueger support Topping, we approve language for site plan review timetable inserting county recommendation to use 25 business days for clarification.  Carried.  Motion Peterson support Topping to approve Blaisdell rezoning from Ag. Res. to Sub. Res.  Much discussion.  Opposed Cowan.  Carried.  Discussion on rezoning request of property abutting rail bed in Gregory to business.  Tabled to next meeting.  Motion Krueger support Peterson to set meeting dates for 2006/07 to 2'nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  Carried.  Motion Peterson support Krueger to adopt resolution 3-06-01 to authorize attorney Paul Burns to institute legal proceedings in Circuit Court against Wilson's to comply with ordinance and their original agreement.  Roll vote:  Aye:  Cowan, Mahler, Peterson, Krueger, Topping.  Nay:  None.  Absent:  None.  Resolution adopted.  Motion Peterson support Cowan to approve fire and general fund amendments.  Increase fire equipment 206-977 by $2,000 and decreasing 206-505 federal grants by $2,000.  Increase 191 elections by $500, 209 Assessor by $1,000, 301 PD Soc. Sec. by $900, 336 FD Soc. Sec. by $1,410, increase 446 roads by $4,000 and decreasing 284 general by $7,810.  Carried.  Mahler to transfer funds of $15,000 from general fund to fire department equipment fund as approved at last years budget hearing.  Interviews for Planning Commission will be Tuesday, March 14, 2006 beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Final call to public:  Sally Reynolds, County Register of Deeds, was present to discuss road and driveway easement filings.  Meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
