Unadilla Township Regular Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:02 p.m.  Present:  Peterson, Topping, Mahler, Cowan.  Absent: Krueger.  Pledge to flag led by Supervisor Peterson.  Motion Mahler support Peterson to approve consent agenda items including June regular meeting minutes and payment of bills as amended.  Carried.  Call to Public:  Linda Walker reminding people to vote for roads on August 2nd.  Mr. French thanking Supervisor Peterson for all his hard work in the township.  Reports given by Zoning, Planning, Recreation, Waste Management.  Cowan informed board that we got grant for clean up day and that it will be tentatively set for Sept. 24th.  Police and Fire Reports given.  Correspondence from Attorney General stating an opinion on haul routes for road commissions.  Unfinished Business:  Corner Lot Clarification:  Motion Peterson support Cowan to approve addition and clarification of corner lots adding picture to figure 2-4, Section 2 of the zoning ordinance.  Carried.  Beduhn Road, final:  Motion Peterson support Topping to approve final road for Beduhn development, pending approval from township engineer, attorney and bond in order.  After much discussion.  Mahler informed board she would abstain as her son has an interest in the development.  Cowan opposed.  Motion carried.  Sale of Seized Truck:  Motion Peterson support Mahler to approve of taking sealed bids for a forfeiture 2003,  F-150 pick-up truck with rights to accept or reject any or all bids.  Carried.  Attorney Resolution:  Discussion of adding attorney Burns as co-council to on going lawsuit.  Discussion, tabled until discussed with insurance carrier.  Text amendment for Churches in B-1 and B-2 districts:  Discussion, sent back to the planning commission for review.  Fee Schedule Update:  Motion Cowan support Peterson to approve new fee schedule for permits, zoning books, etc.  Carried.  Multi-Lakes Sewer representative:  Peterson read letter of resignation from Chris Jones our sewer representative explaining time constraint issues.  Motion Peterson support Cowan to appoint Joe Mahler as our Multi-Lake Sewer representative, with Chris Jones as alternate.  Carried.
