Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at 7:31 p.m. Present: Williams, Topping, Mahler, Krueger, Cowan. Absent: None. Pledge to flag led by Supervisor. Motion Krueger support Cowan to approve agenda as amended, October 9, October 14, and October 29th meeting minutes and bills approved as presented. Carried. First call to public: Sewer report by Supervisor, Zoning report handed out, Planning Commission Report given by Trustee. Mr. MacArthur presented board with a check for $700.00 for the golf outing that was held to raise money for the AED purchase. The community and many residents have donated to date $4419.85 toward the two AED machines for the police cars. Chief Cook reports high speed internet hooked up for the fire and police depts. Speed limit changes on Bullis are done. John Watters restocked the first aid kits for police cars. Inventory has been completed at police station. He also reports they have an abundance of gun locks still available for the public. Chief Schroeder reports fire truck mechanical fix pending. He has a breakdown of the costs of the run on Pleasant Drive to turn into the contractor. He also reports that the 800 MHz radios are on board and they have been trained. They were funded by the county. (Minutes amended to add Planning Report: They had a public hearing in Oct on Swimming pool ordinance which has been sent to county. They discussed recreation plan, illegal signs and Lakeland trails. They discussed open space preservation also) Motion Cowan support Mahler to approve payments for Gregory Sewer of $8853.47 to Brown Drilling. Carried. Motion Krueger support Cowan to approve engineering amendment number 2 for Tetra Tech in amount of $4400.00. Carried. Motion Williams support Krueger to place ad in paper looking for proposals for zoning enforcement officer as Mr. Enos is resigning. Carried. Motion Cowan support Williams to support resolution no. 1103-01, support of Lakeland Trails. Discussion of possible liability issue. Support Mahler, Nays: Topping, Krueger. Motion carried. Motion Krueger support Mahler to appoint Chris Jones as representative to the Multi-Lakes Sewer Authority Board. Carried. Motion Krueger support Mahler to approve resolution no. 1103-02, Unadilla Township Traffic Code Ordinance. Roll: Yeas: Krueger, Williams, Mahler, Cowan, Topping. Nays: None. Absent: none. Carried. Motion Krueger support Cowan to amend budget line 201 (attorney) increase by $12,000.00 decrease line 890 (contingency) by $12,000.00. Carried. Motion Krueger support Mahler to purchase extra pump station tools, valves and valve pits to have on hand. Carried. Motion Topping support Krueger to approve resolution no. 1103-03, opposing proposed house bill 5145. Roll Vote: Yeas: Krueger, Williams, Mahler, Cowan, Topping. Nays: None. Absent: None. Carried. Final call to public: Motion Krueger support Mahler to adjourn at 8:35 p.m. Carried.
