PARKS IMPROVEMENTS:  Unadilla Township Community Park

Unadilla Township awarded $30,000 for park improvements

The Unadilla Township Community Park project is almost complete.  The new walking path around the perimeter was finished last week and the pavilion will be lit up by solar lighting by October first.

These great new additions to the park were primarily funded with a $30,000 grant obtained through the DNR, with the help of Mark Pascoe and Stantec Engineering.  The Township matched the grant with funding of only $7,500.

The Park and Recreation Committee's next goal is to have a playscape for kids up and running by this time next year.
