Investigator Ryan L. Hamlin |
|
Ryan Hamlin joined the Unadilla Township Police Department in August, 2004 as a reserve police officer. He was appointed investigator in March of 2007. Inv. Hamlin is a graduate of the Michigan Northeastern Police Academy Reserve program at Delta College (Bay City). He has attained an Associate of Science Degree from Lansing Community College in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama. Hamlin is a Certified Financial Crimes Investigator, Syracuse University at Utica College. He has completed the McComb Community College School of Criminal Justice Detectives Academy. Hamlin is a certified evidence technician through the Oakland Police Academy. He has completed the Interview & Interrogation School at Oakland Police Academy and he has completed the Reid School of Interview & Interrogation. Inv. Hamlin has completed the drug school and advanced drug school at McComb Community College. He is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) where he complete training for investigations, advanced crime scene investigations, internet crimes investigations, digital photography for law enforcement and examination photography and surveillance. He has also completed a variety of evidence schools, criminal investigation schools and criminal profiling schools. Hamlin has completed over 2,900 hours of investigative and law enforcement training. Mr. Hamlin has served on the Unadilla Township Planning Commission from June 2007 to March of 2009. Honors and Awards: Nine letters of commendation for investigations involving home invasions, sex crimes, illegal drugs, larcenies, robberies, and breaking and enterings. Received two live saving awards, one from Unadilla Township Police Department and the National Association of Chiefs of Police. Officer of the year for Unadilla Township Police Department, 2007 and 2009. Letter of recognition for working with at-risk youths and outstanding efforts in criminal investigations and working to prevent and reduce crime. Awards from the National Association of Chiefs of Police for excellence in investigations and arrests, criminal investigations for excellence in investigations, and a merit award for excellent arrests. |
