Sergeant David S. Russell
David
Russell joined the Unadilla Township Police Department in April of 2003.
Sgt. Russell also serves as a police officer for the
Pinckney Village Police Department. He was appointed to the position of Sergeant in October
2004. Sgt. Russell serves as the liaison to the Livingston County
Detectives Meeting and as a firearms instructor for Unadilla Township and
Pinckney Village Police Departments.
Russell has attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University and has previously served as a police officer for the University of Michigan Department of Public Safety. Sgt. Russell is a certified peace officer through the Michigan Commission of Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES), a State certified firearms instructor, and he has served on the Washtenaw County Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team.
