TO REPORT ILLEGAL DRUG ACTIVITY

The Unadilla Township Police Department promotes zero tolerance for illegal drug use in our community.  If you have direct knowledge of or information regarding illegal drug activity, please forward that information to the Police Department.  The Unadilla Township Police Department will hold your information in the strictest confidence.

It is important to note that the more detailed and fresh (or current) the information that you provide is, the greater the likelihood that investigators will be successful in identifying the illegal drug activity. 

It is extremely important that as much detail as possible be reported to the police including dates and times, parties involved, addresses and locations, vehicle descriptions including license plate numbers, suspected drugs involved, frequency of activity, and so forth.  Illegal drug activity should be reported as promptly as possible.

Some helpful tips to remember:

  1. Do not confront a suspected drug dealer or user.

  2. If confronted by a drug dealer or user, dial 911 immediately.

  3. If you have knowledge of drugs being manufactured, dial 911 immediately.

  4. If you locate discarded needles, tablets, or pills, or other suspicious items that appear to be illegal drugs, dial 911 immediately.

  5. People under the influence of a narcotic can suffer from hallucination, paranoia, and other adverse reactions from drug uses.  If you encounter persons exhibiting these behaviors, call 911 immediately.
